Sasha Faraone
B.Ed. | B.M.O.S. | J.D. | ASSOCIATE
Sasha is an associate at Lighthouse Family Law. She has exclusively practiced in the area of family law since her call to the bar in 2017.
Sasha attended law school at the University of Ottawa, after completing a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies (BMOS) degree from Western University and a Bachelor of Education (BEd) from the University of Toronto. She also obtained a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from York University, which sparked her passion for mediation.
Sasha enjoys working with people and is particularly drawn to the counselling aspect of her work. Sasha’s practice is primarily focused on negotiating out of court settlements, with a view that litigation is only necessary in a very limited number of cases. Former clients have routinely described Sasha as empathetic, supportive, professional, knowledgeable, dedicated and unlike other lawyers.
Sasha enjoys hosting free family law information sessions in the community and has been asked to host seminars at the University of Toronto and CAMH. Outside of family law, Sasha is well travelled on 5 continents. During her spare time, she enjoys stand-up comedy, learning new recipes and exploring the city with her dogs (Maverick and Pepper).
