Katherine Robinson
SENIOR ASSOCIATE LAWYER
Katherine Robinson is a senior associate lawyer at Lighthouse Family Law, with over a decade of experience practicing exclusively in family law. She brought with her a wealth of knowledge when she joined Lighthouse in 2024 after previously working at a boutique family law firm in Mississauga and a full-service firm in Toronto.
Katherine works closely with her clients to develop a personalized approach to their family law matter, ensuring that they fully understand the work that is being done and the reasons for doing so, while engaging in a cost-benefit analysis to determine next steps. Katherine believes that the best outcome is often found by working cooperatively to reach a negotiated settlement, but if that is not possible then she has successfully advocated at all levels of Court in Ontario.
Katherine was called to the Ontario Bar in 2012, after obtaining her J.D. from Western University where she showed an early interest in family law. Prior to pursuing law as a career, Katherine’s education was centered in science and math, and she has a Honours Bachelor of Science (Genetics) from Western University, which means that she actually enjoys the calculations often necessary within family law.
A brief hiatus in Katherine’s career allowed her to focus on her main life goal: travel. She solo-travelled for 14-months to South America, South-East Asia and Australia, and is always planning her next adventure. In the meantime, she is ready to assist you and your family in resolving your family law issues.
